About LalaScript

The company

LalaScript Inc. is a Delaware corporation founded in 2025. Ohad Gev is its founder, its only owner, and the person who builds it: the product, the music engine, and the rules behind every arrangement it writes.

LalaScript started as Ohad's idea in the New Venture Creation class of Tel Aviv University's Sofaer Global MBA, where classmates helped him work it up as a course project. He pitched it to win the 2025 Arlette Sofaer Prize at the Sofaer Startup Competition, and founded LalaScript Inc. later that year.

What LalaScript does

LalaScript reads real sheet music and rewrites it for the person playing it. Upload a PDF, MusicXML or MuseScore file; the engine reads it as music rather than as a picture, so you can transpose it, simplify it to your level, or edit it by describing the change in plain words, then hear it in the browser and download it as MusicXML, MuseScore, PDF or MP3. It also writes new scores from a description or a hummed melody. The product is LalaScript Studio.
