Can I transpose a song for a lower or higher voice?
Yes. Upload the sheet music and tell LalaScript the move (“down a major second”) or the target key (“into F”). Melody, accompaniment, and key signature all move together, exactly.
Does it work from a PDF?
Yes. A PDF is read into real, editable notation first. PDFs exported from notation software or publishers convert cleanly; scans and photos are less reliable.
What does the accompanist get?
A freshly engraved PDF in the new key, or MusicXML / MuseScore files if they want to edit further. There is also an MP3 export the singer can rehearse against.
