Does LalaScript print the chord symbols on the chart?
Yes. A LalaScript jazz chart comes back with the chord symbols printed above the staff and the voicings written out underneath, so it reads as a chart and plays as written.
Can I choose the form and the chords?
Yes. Ask LalaScript for AABA, a 12-bar blues, or your own number of bars. If you write the chords out yourself, those are the chords you get, in your order. For progressions by Roman numeral, see the chord progression generator.
Can I change the chart after it is written?
Yes. In the LalaScript edit box you say the change in plain words, for example transpose to E flat or slow it down, and you get a new version of the same chart. Earlier versions stay in the history.
What can't the LalaScript jazz chart generator do yet?
LalaScript writes for one instrument at a time, so a combo chart with separate bass and drum parts is not there yet. It writes original music in a style, not arrangements of standards or songs by name.
